We get to play with fire when we cook, yell at the TV when our team is on and pretend we can still play sports like we did in high school.

We also get to figure out how to be men that our families look up to. It’s easy to sit back and let life happen, but our family, spouse, and community need us to take responsibility instead of passively going through the motions. We need to lead and we need to learn how.

“As iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens a friend’s character.”  Proverbs 27:17

Thrive Man Up

This is a monthly event for men to hang out at manly venues, eat some awesome food, and grow as a community of men at Thrive. Being stouthearted means to have courage and persevere through hard or challenging times. This is as awesome opportunity to talk about some of those challenges and how those experiences shape us as men. The vision is that we sharpen our character to be better husbands, dad’s, friends, and leaders in our community.

Stoutheart Schedule

Time: 6:02 p.m.

What will we do? Hang out, talk about being stouthearted men.
